Annual report microsite
Long-form storytelling site for a youth nonprofit's yearly report.
The brief
A youth nonprofit wanted their annual report to be read — not filed away as a PDF nobody opens.
What I did
- Restructured a 40-page PDF into eight web chapters with pull quotes and impact stats
- Wrote narrative profiles of three program graduates (with their consent and review)
- Set up the build so their communications intern could update numbers each year
Result
Average time on page went from 18 seconds (the old PDF link) to over four minutes, and major-gift donations referenced the report in three separate gift letters.
