Fundraising campaign site
Donation page and email sequence for a community garden's spring drive.
The brief
A community garden needed to raise $15,000 for a new irrigation system before planting season. They had a donation page that said "Donate" and nothing else.
What I did
- Wrote a campaign landing page with a clear goal, timeline, and impact breakdown
- Created a five-email sequence: announcement, midpoint update, final push, thank-you, and impact report
- Drafted social captions and a short blurb for local press
- Set up the donation form with suggested amounts tied to concrete outcomes ($50 buys a drip line, $200 funds a rain barrel)
Result
The campaign hit 112% of goal in 18 days. The final email in the sequence had a 34% open rate, which is unheard of for a volunteer-run list.
